I stayed in this hotel for two weeks before Christmas and it was

fantastic. Derek and Trudy are so welcoming and friendly and nothing is too

much trouble for their guests benefit. It was more akin to staying with

family or friends than in a faceless hotel chain. I will definitely be

I am currently one of the hotels longest staying customs having stayed here on and off since 2004. I have always been treated like family by the staff here and would not go to any other hotel. The service and food here is second to none and the portions of food are big. In all of the time I have been coming here I have had so much fun as the owners (family run) have a brilliant sense of humour and enjoy customers sense of humour and banter.In most hotels you are treated as a room number, yes sir, no sir. It is totally different here. You are more like family. Nothing is too much for them. If you are looking for a hotel in this area I would recommend that you come here. Good rates for rooms, brilliant staff and brilliant atmosphere. Thank you all at the hotel for making me feel at home here.

I have stayed here twice now and i don't believe you could find anything better at these prices, in this area!! The food is fantastic, with generous portions (they beat me every time, i dread to think how big the deserts are lol) the rooms are very comfortable with freeview and wifi connectivity, which is excellent with 2meg download speed. The owners and all the staff are very friendly and really work hard at making you feel like your at home. i solidly recommend this hotel to anyone, my only wish is that i have another course to attend in this area so that i may return... my best wishes go out to a great hard working team hope you enjoy many more years working together.... and to everyone who book a room here hope you find your stay as great as i have.

I have used the Alexandra Hotel for the past 8 years and have found it to be excellent value for money. The rooms are clean and the shower excellent!! A full cooked breakfast (included in the rate) rounds off a great stay. Perfect for business or pleasure. Mcgarrey’s

Steve, Ramsgate : I stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks. All the staff were very friendly and knew your name straight away which I found to be a great personal touch. The food was great & the rooms were spacious and kept well. I would definitely stay there again. ‎

 

Martin : I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay, it more than meets all your basic requirements, Wifi, freeSat in the rooms and a good sized bar area with full sports package. They serve quality (and big quantity) food, both in the evening and a buffet breakfast. Derrick and Trudy are a lovely couple well supported by their staff, nothing is any trouble and there is truly a very genuine friendly atmosphere, your made to feel like your been friends of the family for years.............. I have stayed in 5 star hotels but would choose the Alexandra everytime.................................. All the best ................H‎

 

Neil : This is a family run business which is leagues above any chain hotel for its service and ability to make you feel welcome. The rooms are what you would expect and have freeview TV with tea and coffee. I have used the Alexandra Hotel now for 2 years and would recommend for business and pleasure. Home cooked food with a cracking breakfast and good coffee.
